Most of our fabric is 100% Cotton in various weights. We love Lava cloth, it is also called "bark cloth" or "coconut cloth". It is a little heavier cloth that is a loose weave, almost a hand made look The more you wash Lava Cloth the softer it gets and it feels so good on your skin. It is a unique fabric and it is classy.
All shirts come with one pocket on the left side. I match up the pocket with the print and put a double stitch on the pockets so they never fall apart. I also use a flat feld Levi seam so that the shirts will last for years of enjoyment. WI also triple stitch the sleeves on. These babies will never fall apart.. If you're a Hawaiian Shirt Lover, you're going to love mine.
I also put an interfacing in the collar, lapel and button panel to add body and strength, so that the buttons don't fall off and the shirt stays crisp and new looking for years. Some of my shirts have been around for over 20 years.
I use real nice buttons, some shell, some coconut shell and other high quality buttons. It all depends on what goes with the fabric
