You look at her with great satisfaction and hurry to put the shirt on.

As you squeeze your arm into the new sleeve, it seems a little tight at first but then you are sure, it is tight. Struggling to get it buttoned you start feeling like a stuffed pork chop. This time your better half is rolling around on the floor and you are in danger of loosing it, but you look in the mirror and begin to see the humor of the whole situation. Nice little eighty-dollar joke.

Hawaiian shirt sizing has always been a problem for many people because some like the baggy look and some like a trimmer fit. Some 100% Cotton shrinks more than other 100% Cotton. It depends on the weave and quality of the Goods. Sometimes from batch to batch there will be a different degree of shrinkage. Many like Hawaiian shirts because of their roomy-ness while others love the artwork and designs. Every manufacturer has their own idea of what a Hawaiian shirt size should be, so one Makers large could be very roomy and anothers be too tight. Here is how we deal with the problem.

This is one of the reasons Alohaland.com preshrinks all of our fabrics before the Goods are cut and then we build each Hawaiian shirt to order. When you order a shirt we cut just the right amount of fabric for your size and Preshrink it. Then we gently press it, then built the shirt to your size. So we can do a few things to tweak it so it fits better. Of course these shirts are non-exchangeable so we recommend that you buy a regular cut shirt to help you determine how you would want your next shirt modified on your next purchase.
