I just received my annual Hawaiian shirt for Fathers Day. My wife, who is still not a fan of these shirts, was very impressed. She checked over the shirt with her skilled seamstress eyes and couldn't find a single thing wrong. She gave you a begrudgingly "Well Done", the best of her compliments. She was particularly impressed with your side seams. As for me, I am very well pleased with the color and the fit. Special thanks for the long length. You are awesome! I just can't decide whether to wear it or hang it in a shirt frame and mount it on my wall. Next year "Fishing with Bears". Thanks.

Mola Shirts from San Blas Islands|
We've got another great shirt to offer you. These Mola's are hand appliqued by the Kuna Indians of the San Blas Islands in Panama. Then I embroider them onto one of my solid black or muslin hawaiian style shirts.
Molas are hand made using a reverse applique technique. Several layers (usually two to seven) of different-colored cloth (usually cotton) are sewn together; the design is then formed by cutting away parts of each layer. The edges of the layers are then turned under and sewn down. Often, the stitches are nearly invisible. This is achieved by using a thread the same color as the layer being sewn, sewing blind stitches, and sewing tiny stitches. The finest molas have extremely small stitching, made using tiny needles.
I do have quite a few solid colors if you'd like another color that matches the Mola. Just email me with your questions. These shirts are $30.00 more than my regular Hawaiian shirts...The Molas themselves usually go for $30.00-$70.00.
